Write a Note to the Recipient and Decorate the Envelope

You will be creating one card and envelope for the caregiver and one for the child with autism. Use the enclosed materials to do so. Express your encouragement and include a hopeful message.

Decorate the Plastic Bag

There will be two plastic bags to decorate. Again, one for the caregiver and one for the child with autism.  This is what the final kit is distributed in, make this fun and colorful for the recipient to open. 

Pack the Kit

  • Please only include items that are UNOPENED and UNUSED
  • Add any optional items you would like.
  • Fidget toys
  • Coloring materials
  • Puzzles
  • Journal
  • Calculator 
  • Toys

Items not to include:

  • Perishable items
  • Sharp objects
  • Nut food products
  • Religious or political items

Delivery Options

*If your kit has a prepaid return label, apply that label to the outside of the box and send it back to Project Helping for distribution. 

Distribution options if your kit does not have a prepaid return label:

  • Give your kit directly to someone you know who is caring for a person with autism. 

Dollars for Doers​

If your company offers a Dollars for Doers program, you can submit the time you spent building your Kynd Kit to benefit Project Helping.
