1:15-1:30 – Divide Into Groups/Instructions
1:30-3:45 – Package Kits & Make Cards
3:45-4:00 – Closing & Thank You
What We Will Do:
Project Helping volunteers will help pack menstrual hygiene kits for youth that often have to face a decision between food and school or their menstrual cycle.
What to Bring:
If you can, donations of feminine products (tampons, sanitary pads, panty liners, hygiene wipes, unisex underwear, and toiletry bags).
Where to Park:
Location: Project Helping Office, 3rd Floor of BBVA building (elevator code 8100)
There is parking in the BBVA building parking lot.
Where to Meet:
Enter the lobby of the BBVA bank building, turn right for the elevators and enter the code: 8100. The Project Helping office is on the third floor!
Check in with your Project Helping Kynd Leader when you arrive. They will be wearing a bright lime green shirt, and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast!
About the Organization:
Period Kits believes that no one should have to choose between food and tampons. With the help of donors, they provide “kits” that provide period products to thouse experiencing homelessness, unstable housing, and extreme poverty.
