Volunteer to Grow Food for People in Need at Harvard Gulch (Grow Local Colorado)

What You Will Do:

Volunteers will assist with various gardening projects, such as planting, weeding, and harvesting the gardens.

Agenda:

5:45-6:00 – Welcome and Check In

6:00-6:50 – Gardening

6:50-7:00 – Clean Up and Thank You

What to Bring:

A mask

Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing

Closed-toe shoes

Water, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended

Where to Park:

There is plenty of street parking surrounding the park.

Where to Meet:

The garden is located on the corner of Iliff and Emerson. It is by the CSU Denver Extension office. Check in with the Grow Local volunteer lead when you arrive. They will provide a brief overview of the benefits of volunteering and will stick with you during the entire experience to make sure you have a blast!
