Volunteers will help disabled adults with shopping, running errands, and reading mail to the blind. A volunteer orientation is required.
Volunteers will commit to a once per week 3-hour sessions to read to members either in their homes or in a nearby public location.
Mondays – Morning, Midday, Afternoon, Evening

Helping Hands for the Disabled NYC serves people with special needs, particularly the totally blind. They help people by providing them with opportunities to work with volunteers on a one-to-one basis.
