The Heart of Pueblo is our signature Annual Fundraiser to support the Mental Wellness Program in Pueblo and surrounding Southern Colorado communities. This event raises funds to increase accessible mental health resources for Southern Colorado individuals, families, and schools. The Pueblo community has remained a strong hub at the heart of our program since its inception in 2010.
Join us Thursday, November 13th, 2025 from 10:30am to 1:00pm for a special luncheon filled with connection, inspiration, and impact! Enjoy a delicious meal, network with community leaders, bid in our silent auction, and hear from some incredible guest speakers. Together, we’ll raise critical funds to support mental health and our most vulnerable neighbors, because making a difference can (and should) be fun! We’ll also award one Pueblo youth with the Heart of Pueblo Don Mares Award.
Each year, we award the Heart of Pueblo Don Mares Award to honor individuals and/or organizations who make an outstanding impact in mental wellness. In 2025, we will be awarding our first Youth Mental Wellness Award. There is a $15 fee to nominate. Nominees must:
- Be nominated by October 17th, 2025
- Advocate for or have made a significant contribution to reducing the stigma and barriers related to mental illness in Pueblo
- Be aged 18 or under
- Live in Pueblo County
