At a recent conference, 60 Articulate employees spent an hour building Rescue Dog Care Package kits. The kits were part of the conference program, giving attendees a hands-on break built around a cause: helping rescue dogs waiting for homes.
How it worked
The build ran as a dedicated part of the conference, with a Project Helping host leading the session. A Project Helping representative was on site in person to facilitate the build. The team worked as a production line, with materials arriving in bulk and each station adding one part to the kits, a setup built for a group of this size. Project Helping’s program manager handled the kit selection, timeline, and shipping ahead of time, so all Articulate had to do was show up and build. Once finished, the 60 kits shipped back to Project Helping with prepaid labels for delivery to nonprofits in Project Helping’s recipient network.
The Rescue Dog Care Package kits will go to a nonprofit matched by Project Helping, giving rescue dogs comfort items while they wait for a home. If your team is looking for a way to build something meaningful into a conference agenda, a Kynd Kit session can fit right in.
