AT&T Team Builds 31 Kits for Veterans Affairs Hospital Patients

July 31, 2026 AT&T

An AT&T team came together in person on July 31, 2026 to build 31 kits for a Veterans Affairs Hospital. Each kit was assembled by hand, with the finished projects meant to bring comfort to veterans receiving care.

How it worked

The team ran the session self-hosted, using a Project Helping intro video to open the build. Each participant assembled an individual kit from their own boxed kit, with step-by-step instructions included. Project Helping’s program manager set up the program and handled the details in advance, so the team just needed to show up and build. Once the kits were finished, they shipped back to Project Helping with prepaid labels for delivery through the nonprofit network.

The 31 kits built that day will reach veterans through Project Helping’s nonprofit network. Teams looking for a straightforward, self-hosted way to give back can run a program like this one.
