CDK Global Builds Sensory Bags for Children’s Hospitals

July 7, 2026 July 7th 1-2pm CST in Hoffman Estates Office. July 15 1-2pm CST in Austin Office. CT CDK Global

CDK Global employees built 35 Children’s Hospital Sensory Bags during two in-person sessions, one held in July and a second the following week. Each kit included a custom touch specific to CDK Global. The finished bags are meant for kids in the hospital, giving them something calming to hold onto during treatment.

How it worked

A Project Helping representative was on site in person for both sessions to lead the build. Kits shipped ready to assemble, with each participant putting together an individual kit from their own box. Project Helping set up the program, coordinated the two sessions, and arranged for the finished bags to ship back with prepaid labels for delivery through Project Helping’s nonprofit network. CDK Global just had to show up and build.

The sensory bags now head to children’s hospitals through that network. Any team looking to run something similar, across one location or several, can follow the same simple setup.
