Citi Team Builds 100 Dignity Bags for the Unhoused

June 13, 2026 Citi 304b9

Citi 304b9 brought its team together in person to build 100 Dignity Bags for the Unhoused, a Kynd Kit project supporting people experiencing homelessness.

How it worked

The team ran the build in person and self-hosted the session using Project Helping’s facilitator guide and printed kit instructions. Each volunteer assembled an individual kit from their own boxed kit, with no customization added. Project Helping’s program manager set up the program, selected the kit, and arranged shipping so everything needed arrived ready to build. Once the kits were finished, the team sent them back to Project Helping using prepaid return labels, and the company received an impact report afterward.

From there, Project Helping delivers the Dignity Bags to a nonprofit in its recipient network that serves people experiencing homelessness, giving them basic essentials often out of reach on the street. Any team looking for a straightforward, self-hosted way to build something concrete for people in need can run a program like this one.
