Daiichi Sankyo Builds 301 Chemo Care Kits

August 18, 2026 Daiichi Sankyo

Daiichi Sankyo brought its team together for an in-person build of 301 Chemo Care kits, made for people going through chemo treatment. Each kit was built to offer comfort during a hard stretch of treatment.

How it worked

The event was self-hosted. Before the build, the team watched a Project Helping intro video that set up the cause and the kit. From there, each builder assembled an individual kit from their own kit box, working through the steps at their own table. The kits were not customized, so every one followed the standard Chemo Care design. A Project Helping program manager set up the program in advance, and the kits arrived with everything builders needed, along with instructions and a facilitator guide so the self-hosted format ran smoothly. Once the 301 kits were finished, they shipped back to Project Helping using prepaid return labels. The team also received an impact report afterward, along with registration codes so builders can see where their kits ended up.

From there, Project Helping delivered the kits to nonprofits in its recipient network, where they reached people currently going through chemo treatment. Each kit is meant to make a hard day a little easier. Any team looking for a self-hosted, in-person build with a clear cause can run a program like this one.
