Fidelity Builds 176 Autism Support Kynd Kits

June 24, 2026 Fidelity

Fidelity brought together volunteers for an in-person build of 176 Autism Support Kynd Kits. The kits were built to support the autism community, with each finished kit heading back to Project Helping for distribution.

How it worked

The event was self-hosted, with Fidelity’s team running the session using a Project Helping intro video to set the stage before builders got started. Each participant assembled a complete kit from their own individual kit, working through the step-by-step instructions included in the box. Project Helping’s program manager set up the program in advance, coordinated kit shipping and timeline, and included the facilitator materials and printed instructions so the Fidelity team could run the build without any extra planning. Once the kits were finished, they were shipped back to Project Helping using prepaid return labels, and Fidelity received an impact report afterward.

The finished kits will move through Project Helping’s nonprofit network to reach people who need them, connecting the work of 176 kits to the autism support cause. Teams looking for a straightforward, self-hosted way to build something meaningful together can run a similar program.
