Forvis Mazars ran a virtual Kynd Kit program on June 24th and 26th, building 135 kits for people navigating job searches, chemo treatment, and homelessness. Employees built from wherever they were, no office required.
How it worked
This was a Virtual event, so kits shipped straight to each participant’s home with everything needed already inside the box. A Project Helping Host led the build, guiding volunteers through the kits and the causes behind them. Everyone assembled Individual Kits on their own, following the included instructions. A Project Helping program manager set up the program in advance, confirmed the schedule, and arranged for finished kits to ship back with prepaid labels. Forvis Mazars didn’t have to source materials, write instructions, or figure out logistics.

Once built, the kits returned to Project Helping for delivery to nonprofits in its recipient network, reaching people preparing for job interviews, sitting through chemo treatment, and living without stable housing. Companies looking to run a similar program, in one office or spread across many homes, can start with a short launch form.
