Volunteers at Medtronic – Portugal built 70 Chemo Care kits during an in-person session on June 20, 2026. Each kit was assembled to bring comfort to people going through chemo treatment.
How it worked
The team gathered in person and ran the build themselves, self-hosted with Project Helping’s facilitator guide and step-by-step kit instructions. Each volunteer assembled an individual kit from their own boxed materials, no customization needed. Project Helping’s program manager set up the program and confirmed the details ahead of time, and the kits arrived with everything volunteers needed to build. Once the kits were finished, they shipped back to Project Helping with prepaid labels for delivery into the nonprofit network. The team also received an impact report afterward, and each kit’s registration code lets builders see where their kit went.
The 70 finished Chemo Care kits now head to people going through chemo treatment through Project Helping’s nonprofit network. If your team is looking for a straightforward way to build something meaningful together, a Kynd Kit program can run just as smoothly for you.
