NetApp brought together volunteers to build 30 Teen Mental Health kits, supporting young people navigating mental health challenges.
How it worked
The team gathered in person for the build, with a Project Helping host on site to lead the session from start to finish. Each volunteer assembled an individual kit using standard materials and instructions included with every kit. Project Helping’s program manager set up the program and confirmed all the details ahead of time, so the kits arrived ready to build. Once finished, the kits shipped back to Project Helping using prepaid labels for delivery to a nonprofit in our recipient network.
The finished kits will reach teens through Project Helping’s nonprofit network, offering comfort and encouragement during a difficult time. Teams looking for a straightforward, hosted way to give back can run a program like this one.
