Premier Roofing, LLC built 45 Kynd Kits in a hybrid volunteer event on July 9, 2026, assembling Toys for Shelter Animals and Sensory Kits for Foster Youth.
How it worked
Some team members built together in person while others joined from home, each assembling individual kits with materials that arrived ready to go. The team self-hosted the session using Project Helping’s facilitator guide and the step-by-step instructions included with every kit. Project Helping set up the program, selected the kit options, and arranged for prepaid return shipping so finished kits could be sent back after the build.
- Toys for Shelter Animals
- Sensory Kit for Foster Youth
Once complete, the kits shipped back to Project Helping for delivery through its nonprofit network, reaching shelter animals in need of comfort and foster youth who could use a calming sensory tool. Teams looking for a flexible way to combine in-office and remote volunteering can run a similar program.
