Q2 gathered in person to build 15 Sensory Kits for Foster Youth, a hands-on project supporting kids in the foster care system.
How it worked
The team self-hosted the build using Project Helping’s facilitator guide and printed kit instructions, with each person assembling an individual kit from their own boxed materials. A Project Helping program manager set up the program in advance and arranged for the kits to ship with everything included. Once the build was finished, the team shipped the kits back to Project Helping using a prepaid label for distribution.
Project Helping delivered the finished kits to a nonprofit partner serving foster youth, giving kids a comforting, sensory-friendly item of their own. Q2’s program shows how a small team can put together a meaningful build in a single session. Any team looking for an easy way to give back can run one too.
