Salesforce Volunteers Build 50 Kits Across Ten Causes

August 20, 2026 2 - 3pm ET Salesforce

Salesforce brought together 100 volunteers to build 50 Kynd Kits covering ten different causes, from chemo care to domestic violence survivor support. The in-person build ran for one hour and touched nearly every corner of community need, from children’s hospitals to seniors to people experiencing homelessness.

How it worked

This was an in-person event with a Project Helping host leading the build. A Project Helping representative was on site in person to facilitate, walking volunteers through each kit and the cause behind it. Volunteers assembled individual kits, each person building complete kits from their own boxed materials. A Project Helping program manager handled the kit selection and shipping ahead of time, and the facilitator guide and instructions came packed with the kits, so the team just had to show up and build. Once finished, the kits shipped back to Project Helping with prepaid labels for delivery through our nonprofit network.
