Twilio brought its team together in person to build 40 Autism Support Kynd Kits. Each volunteer assembled an individual kit, working from the same standard build with no added customization.
How it worked
A Project Helping representative was on site to lead the build from start to finish. Project Helping handled the setup ahead of time: kits shipped ready to build, instructions came included, and a nonprofit partner was already lined up to receive the finished kits. Volunteers just showed up and built. When the kits were done, they went directly to that nonprofit partner rather than being shipped back or stored.
The 40 Autism Support kits now support that nonprofit partner’s work in the community. Any team can run a program like this, in person or virtually, with Project Helping handling the details in between.
