Kynd Kits

Now through April 28, 2023, every Medtronic employee can try a Kynd Kit for free, compliments of the Medtronic Foundation!
Limit 1 kit per employee.  See below for ordering details.

Kynd Kits are volunteer projects in a box. Everything you need to make something for someone in need is provided. Follow the instructions below to place your order and participate in the program.

Welcome Medtronic Employees!

Medtronic Foundation is excited to partner with Project Helping to provide an easy and impactful volunteer opportunity to employees.  Kynd Kits are volunteer projects in a box that can be delivered anywhere in the world.  
There are multiple ways to volunteer with a Kynd Kit:
PLEASE NOTE: In order to receive any incentives offered through the Medtronic Foundation (i.e., free return shipping label, discount pricing promotions, etc.) Kynd Kit orders must be placed through this page. Orders placed via the general Project Helping Kynd Kit page will not qualify for promotions and/or discounts.
All Medtronic employees placing an order for Kynd Kits from this page must record their participation on the Volunteer and Giving hub website.

Where Does My Kit Get Donated?

US Distribution

All kits assembled within the United States should be returned to Project Helping using the return shipping label included in the kit. Project Helping has established relationships with key nonprofits that gratefully accept specific kits.

International Distribution

Kits assembled in countries outside of the United States are not currently able to be shipped back to Project Helping for distribution. Volunteers should identify a non-profit that serves an under-represented population in their community and donate the kit(s) to that organization.

Orders are typically shipped within two business days from the time the order is placed.

US orders take between 3-7 business days to arrive once shipped. 

Shipping time for international orders varies. Shipping in the Americas typically takes 2 weeks. For all other locations please allow 3-5 weeks for shipping.

Please allow for shipping delays around the holidays.

There are instructions included with each kit. Just follow along to build something meaningful for someone in need.
