Let's start by taking a moment to practice gratitude.

Gratitude Practice

  • What about your health are you grateful for and why?

  • What is something that made you smile today?

The Recipient

Perspectives is a human service agency that serves homeless women and their children and addresses the community’s core issues around homelessness; racial disparity, poverty, trauma, mental and chemical health issues, and nutrition. They realize that when a woman’s life has been a cycle of inequity, addition, trauma, and poverty, the chances of her visiting this same cycle upon her children is extraordinarily high. They provide furnished apartments, case management, mental health/recover services, employment assistance, food, nutrition education, child reunification, and children’s programming.

The Reason

Build an activity kit for children ages 6-10 that are coming out of homelessness with their mothers.

Unpack the Box

  • Take everything out of the box.
  • Lay everything out so you can find what you need to build the kit.

*Make note of your Kynd Code. You will use this code at the end of the project.
