My name is Deseree and I’m a Colorado native. I’m a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology. From early on in my studies there was no question of just how important mental health truly could be to one’s overall well being. That the stigma surrounding mental health really does not discriminate and it’s crippling affects can be seen on even the most successful or well rounded individuals. From here laid the foundation and desire from years of volunteering within the educational system to make my journey into the nonprofit world. I’m so happy to have found a place at Project Helping. Where the impact of what we do everyday can be felt not only locally within our communities of the Denver Metro, but across the U.S, as well as Internationally. I’m truly excited to see what kind of growth Project Helping has in store for the years to come. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and taking in all sights with my husband and our 3 children. As well as finding new delicious restaurants along the way. However, more times then not you will find my husband and I on a soccer field as we are a huge soccer family cheering on our children most weekends and absolutely loving it.
