Mortgage Loan Officer, Spire Financial
Doug grew up in Denver, the youngest of five siblings (Kayte, Mary, Bill and David). After graduating from University of Colorado, Boulder he spent 8 years teaching elementary school at Stanley British Primary School. In 2001, he was given an opportunity to join the Community Relations/Fan Development Department at Kroenke Sports and Entertainment. For 15 years, he worked with athletes from the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rapids setting up clinics, school and hospital visits, community appearances at non-profits and charity events. After leaving Kroenke Sports, he joined Spire Financial in his current role as a Mortgage Loan Officer. Doug and his wife Allison Neckers have an adopted son named Wondi from Ethiopia. In his free time, he enjoys reading, volunteering and spending time with his family and friends. Doug has also been on the board of Advocates for Children – CASA for the past 7 years and co-founder of the Guys Who Give Denver Chapter.
