Hey there! My name is Hailey Dickerson- I’m a lover of all things joyous and for me that’s going to live shows, spending time outside with my loved ones/dogs, and learning about mushrooms/native plants! My favorite outdoor hobbies include skiing, white-water kayaking, climbing, fly-fishing, and biking around town. I graduated from Auburn University in 2020 with a B.S. in Microbiology and was working in research trying to find my purpose. Growing up I volunteered heavily in underserved communities and continued that passion through my collegiate career which gave me the opportunity to spend time all over Africa and Eastern Asia providing medical relief and development for communities in need. Like so many of us I was struggling to find direction and purpose during the pandemic and moved to Denver to nurture my love for all things outdoors and to find the community I desperately needed. In doing so I found Project Helping and am so thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to those in need, help build community, and challenge our preconceptions on mental well-being.
