Promoted from Mental Wellness Program Director to Executive Director of Spark the Change Colorado, Kelly has been with Spark for over 9 years. Kelly has 23 years of experience leading and growing successful volunteer engagement programming in the nonprofit sector. During the last 8 years, Kelly’s focus has been on building health equity through Spark’s Mental Wellness Program, which leverages the skills and generosity of volunteer mental health clinicians to provide services to people experiencing barriers to accessing care. Kelly believes affordable access to quality mental health care should be available to everyone, regardless of wealth, status, or identity.
Kelly deeply values the power of volunteerism to make lasting change in our communities. In fact, her journey with Spark (then Metro Volunteers) began as a volunteer curriculum developer and trainer. Everyone has something to give!
In Kelly’s free time, she enjoys travel, skiing, hiking with her dog, Jerry, and spending time with friends and her 14-year-old son.
