My name is Leeanne Moses. I graduated from Suffolk University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and the hope to use my degree to help others. I have been involved in volunteerism most of my life, finding a lot of joy and fulfillment spending my time helping others. I have spent time volunteering in low income communities in Boston as well as impoverished villages in Guatemala and have seen first hand the impact clean cloths, water, and supplies can make to a person in need. As with many, my mental health declined over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hoping to find new adventure, I moved to Colorado in October of 2021 with the intent to ski, hike and rock climb as much as possible as well as find a job that the fulfilled my hopes of helping others. I am so happy to be a part of the Project Helping team and to have opportunity to give back to individuals and communities while also challenging the stigmas surrounding mental wellness.
