Madison Forristall – Kynd Kit Operations Assistant

My name is Madison. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in psychology. While I was in undergrad, I completed two independent research projects which helped me to graduate from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of Psychology with honors. I am a big psych nerd! After undergrad I worked at the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation There we served under-resourced communities, providing children a safe place to be after school, while supporting their mental wellbeing, and academic pursuits. I also had the privilege of working at a Refugee Resettlement Agency in Salt Lake City. I worked with the refugee youth, developing programming for their transition to life in America, their educational needs, and mental health/trauma recovery. I got to work with people from all over the world, like Afghanistan, Burma, Ukraine, the DRC, and so many other beautiful places. I love learning about new cultures! I got homesick for Colorado after a while of my Utah adventures, so I headed home. I am thrilled to be back in Colorado working with Project Helping, supporting the mental wellbeing of others across the globe!
