My name is Meaghan Stern. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Studies. After completing an internship at a nonprofit organization serving people affected by Cancer, I realized I belonged in the nonprofit world rather than healthcare. This realization inspired a move to Colorado to begin graduate school at UCCS, where I currently study nonprofit management. Having struggled with anxiety for most of my life, it feels amazing to be a part of the work that Project Helping is doing to improve mental wellness while also giving back to the community. In my free time you can find me painting, working on my latest jigsaw puzzle, or baking treats for my friends and family. I also enjoy going on adventures with my partner, Zach, and our two dogs, Casper and Gus.
