Shoy McKen is an accomplished professional in the real estate investment sector, in 2020 Shoy joined Lev Capital, a tech driven capital markets firm, with a focus on reshaping the commercial real estate finance landscape. As the Senior Director, Shoy drives originations and debt placements across all real estate sector. Shoy previously led a team at The Besen Group, a New York City investment sales firm. Shoy also worked in foreign direct investments at OCO Global, as a consultant he assisted over 100 mid-size companies looking to enter new markets abroad.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Shoy generously donates his time to several philanthropic entities that focus on marginalized communities, by working within the cultural arts and community-based organizations such as the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Ifetayo Cultural Arts Academy. Shoy seeks to make contributions to organizations that continue to have a positive compounding effect on communities, large and small. Through supporting the efforts of Project Helping, Shoy believes building a strong and sustainable community starts with positive and meaningful interactions.
A native New Yorker, Shoy attended LREI in Greenwich Village, and received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from Columbia College at Columbia University. Shoy enjoys reading, international travel, cultural arts, architecture and cycling
