Originally from Ft. Wayne, IN, Tyler moved to Colorado to begin his legal career after graduating from Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington. Tyler began his career as a criminal defense attorney at a boutique law firm where he also served as a contract attorney for the Alternate Defense Counsel. Committed to helping families in crisis, his practice is now entirely devoted to family law. Through his own struggles with mental health, Tyler was drawn to Project Helping and believes it is important to engage in open and honest communication to combat the stigma regarding mental health issues. In his free time Tyler enjoys playing golf and soccer, hiking, and relaxing with his pets, Michael and Oscar.
