Project Helping – Finalist in the Renewal Awards

By: Hillary Testa, Project Helping Intern

Project Helping is thrilled to announce that we are one of 25 finalists eligible for a $10,000 grant through the 2015 Renewal AwardsRoundPhx

The Renewal Awards program was created by Atlantic Media and is sponsored by The Allstate Foundation to recognize innovators working to solve problems at grassroots levels. The Renewal Awards program began with the public nomination of individuals and organizations who work creatively to drive positive change in their communities. After the nominations, twenty-five finalists were selected based on four criteria – the ability to reproduce their project, the existing positive impact on their community, the ability to build partnerships with other organizations, and the potential impact their program has for the future. Project Helping is very proud to be a finalist.

We have the incredible opportunity to win a $10,000 Renewal Award grant and now we need your help to get there. To help determine the final six grant winners, there is a public vote – please take a minute out of your day to support Project Helping by voting for us!

As a non-profit organization, we have to take advantage of every funding opportunity we can find. Project Helping is working to grow and expand our impact, and the Renewal Award grant will allow us to achieve even more. Our mission is to use the joy of purpose created by volunteering to improve mental wellness, and we want to spread that mission as far as we can.
