WHAT WE DO

Project Helping San Diego organizes volunteer events specifically designed to make an impact — both on you and your community. Through the act of volunteering, participants actively invest in their communities while also reaping the benefits of increased mental wellness.  We create and practice kindfulness!

WHY WE DO IT

Helping others, making an impact, and being a part of a community are foundational elements to who we are and what drives happiness. When we lose any of these foundation elements, our mental wellness suffers. We provide an engaging and impactful way to build or rebuild these foundational elements and improve mental wellness.

HOW WE DO IT

First, we carefully select partner organizations that allow us to provide impactful, social, and easy to join volunteer events. Next, we provide these events at different times and locations for a variety of meaningful causes. Finally, you get involved, making a lasting impact on your community and your own mental wellness.  Find a volunteer event in San Diego, and sign up today!

ABOUT US

Project Helping San Diego started in 2017 as part of Project Helping, which was founded in Denver, Colorado in 2014. Our mission is to improve mental wellness by creating meaningful, social, and accessible volunteer experiences for anyone living with a mental wellness challenge. We create and host these volunteer experiences at a variety of nonprofit partners to help people build their mental wellness by volunteering, connecting with their community, and being a part of something bigger than themselves.
