This holiday season, Sony Corporation of America is proud to partner with Project Helping, a nonprofit organization focused on improving mental wellness through accessible experiences that create purpose and connection, to offer employees a free Kynd Kit experience.  Kynd Kits are small volunteer projects and acts of kindness that you can do on your own time.  We are offering four (4) unique Kynd Kits that focus on communities that often need the most care this time of year, including homeless individuals, children in foster care, and senior citizens.

Care Package for Seniors: Spread holiday cheer to a senior living in an assisted living center with this kit that includes a card, a puzzle book, cards, a DIY picture frame, and more.

Dignity Bag for Homeless: Help ensure someone experiencing homelessness has crucial necessities for the winter with this kit that includes hygiene items, snacks, socks, and more.

Homeless Youth Clothes Kit: Donate gently used or new, school-appropriate clothes to nonprofit organization Note in the Pocket for homeless students. Use the enclosed materials in the kit, like lip balm, gum, and socks, to create special surprises inside for each garment.  All sizes welcome!

Sensory Kit for Foster Children: Make a care package to be delivered to a child going through the foster care court system with this kit that includes an activity pad, coloring book, 3D puzzles, and more.

Each kit will come with 100 percent of the supplies. This year, you will have the opportunity to order a Kit of your choice online or, if you are in the 25 Madison office, you will be able to select and pick up a Kit in person instead of ordering online.

To order your kit online, scroll down to select your free Kynd Kit and enter “SCAHoliday” at checkout to have it delivered to your home.  When the kit arrives, open it and follow the instructions.  Please order your Kynd Kit by no later than Friday, December 10.

If you are in the 25 Madison office and would like to pick up a Kynd Kit, a table will be set up in the Hub on the 28^th floor from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, where you can pick up your Kit.  If you are not able to stop by the Hub during that time, Kits will also be available for pickup in the HR suite on the 26^th Floor.
