Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

The RSVP program, powered by AmeriCorps Seniors, engages adults 55+ in volunteer opportunities across Southern Colorado to improve rural community well-being and support seniors’ health through meaningful service.

About RSVP

At Spark, we believe that folks aged 55 and up have so much to contribute to their communities through volunteer engagement. Rural seniors often have significantly worse mental and physical health outcomes than their urban counterparts, but volunteering can help!

Powered by AmeriCorps Seniors' Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), we connect older adults with volunteer opportunities that make a difference in their area, while helping them stay engaged and healthy. Spark’s RSVP program operates in 3 major areas of Southern Colorado: Alamosa County, Huerfano/Las Animas Counties, and Montezuma County.

Interested in getting started with RSVP? We are currently recruiting both Volunteers and Volunteer Stations (local partner organizations) in all our RSVP service areas.
