About RSVP
At Spark, we believe that folks aged 55 and up have so much to contribute to their communities through volunteer engagement. Rural seniors often have significantly worse mental and physical health outcomes than their urban counterparts, but volunteering can help! Powered by AmeriCorps Seniors' Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), we connect older adults with volunteer opportunities that make a difference in their area, while helping them stay engaged and healthy. Spark’s RSVP program operates in 3 major areas of Southern Colorado: Alamosa County, Huerfano/Las Animas Counties, and Montezuma County.

Volunteer: Where to Start?

Interested in getting started with RSVP? We are currently recruiting both Volunteers and Volunteer Stations (local partner organizations) in all our RSVP service areas. For more information on what it means to Volunteer or become a Volunteer Station, or if you're ready to start the volunteer onboarding process, contact staff in your local county:
