Project helping’s “Transitional Employment Program” employs individuals with barriers to employment. This includes homelessness, substance misuse, incarceration, mental/physical health barriers, and more. These are the incredible individuals who build your Kynd Kit!
Our current partner for kit fulfillment is The Mile High WorkShop. The Mile High WorkShop is an employment and job training program for those facing barriers to work. Our mission is to create employment opportunities and provide job training for members of our community seeking to rebuild from addictions, homelessness, and incarceration.
Every time you build a Kynd Kit, you are volunteering. Volunteering is shown to increase the feel-good hormones in your brain, such as dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins. It also decreases stress and anxiety levels. This is why we always say when you do good, you feel good.
Every single kit in the Kynd Kit line has a specific beneficiary. There are currently over 20 causes your kit support! Some of our favorite cause areas are people experiencing homelessness, children in the foster care system, new moms, shelter animals, and more. To see all of the cause areas kit support, visit kyndkit.org.
Project helping is a 501(c)(3) with a missionto build mental wellness through accessible experiences that create purpose and community. We put on over 700 volunteer events per year, and carry out multiple mental health initiatives. Every Kynd Kit purchased is a donation to help us further our mission!
