What We Will Do
We will be serving lunch to the homeless at San Diego Rescue Mission. The food is provided, as are the tools needed to serve.
When To Show Up
We will begin at 10:45 am. Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure we get started on time.
What to Wear
Please dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes, pants, and shirts with sleeves (long or short).
Where to Park
There is a parking in the garage on 1st Avenue (across the street from the Rescue Mission). You will receive the gate code in your reminder text before the event. After parking, cross the street, enter the main door, and go to the reception desk for the men’s dining room.
Who to Meet
Check in with the Project Helping event leader when you arrive. They will be wearing a bright green Project Helping t-shirt with “Volunteer Leader” on the back.

If for any reason you won’t be able to make it, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 48 hours in advance. We need to fulfill our commitment to the San Diego Rescue Mission and this allows us to release a spot to an eager volunteer on the wait list.
